This 3D-track was made by carrera4 for the F1 1988 rFactor mod. It was converted to Assetto Corsa by derDumeklmmer and enhanced by Rainmaker.
The conversion of the 1988s tracks is a project of schwarzbierbude.de your friendly AC-Server.

why doesn't he record lap times during qualifying?

finally I found this track with proper AI behaviour on start! but can someone explain me why some AI drivers go to pits just after 1st lap and stay there??

Track file is small, but the quality is excellent. a little suggestion: will you please make the F1 70 layout on this track? that is: faster Jim Clark chicane and no ostkurve chicane. you can call it "moto gp layout", for moto gp indeed used such a layout until 1993.
I also found your Anderstorp and Zolder 67, huge improvement, thanks

I have to write this in now.

It's great that you, Rainmaker, are adapting these great old racetracks a little to the new conditions of Assetto Corsa.
I've had these racetracks in my library since V1.0.
No square kilometer asphalt run-off zones, gravel beds, tobacco advertising. That's how I got to know Formula 1.
Soon the diaper advertising will be hanging on the race track.
Thank you for the retreads.
