WARNING: Not Multiplayer Compatible!
Back in F1 2020, I have done a similar "Modified Force Feedback" mod with some subtle changes to the vibration for the game. As I am not too happy with the current Force Feedback (FFB), I decided to try something out for F1 22 and here's the result.
What are the changes?
Check out the README file in the "Mod" folder - it is a simple procedure to do.
Can I mod it myself?
Sure! I included all required stuff (I think) in the "For modders" folder in the archive. It also has a "README" text file with brief explanation of what's where.
Update compatibility?
This should be compatible with future updates and previous updates. Unless Codemasters decide to change something drastically. At the moment of writing, it is patch 1.10hf (hotfix).
Where can I use this mod?
Everywhere except any Multiplayer part. So you can use this in My Team and Driver Career, Grand Prix and Time Trial (probably not post times to leaderboard, but you can get times from leaderboard). Podium Pass also works. Split-Screen will probably work too. Any online multiplayer interaction (Social Play - hosting a lobby and trying to join a lobby; Weekly Events; Leagues; LAN; Two-Player Career) will likely not work.
Future Mod Updates?
Possibly. I may do some variations based on some other older F1 games (2018, for example), of course if people would like that and if it will work as expected. It's partially a "trial and error", you know.

- Added "RoadFeel" support for gamepads (hopefully all gamepads) - so now you should feel your car being a lot more lively on the track and your gamepad vibrating a lot more. Or at least I hope you like the effect.
- Some subtle changes to FFB effects based on F1 2020 FFB.
