First of all, a HUGE thank you to 'gwaldock' who without him I thought my Pantera F5000 mod was lost forever. Thank you for hanging on to it and making it available to me again ... I cannot thank you enough.
OK, on to the 'new updated' Pantera S5000 mod.
My original Pantera F5000 mod was based on 'old school' F5000 running gear, 'Boss' 302 5.0L and Hewland LG600 5-speed transaxle, however, as nearly 10 years have past since this beast made it's appearance, it's been 'updated' to more modern specs ... namely Australia's new for 2019 S5000 open-wheel class.

The S5000 uses a control Ford Coyote 'Alumina' fuel-injected 5.0-litre quad-cam V8 producing about 560hp and a 8,000rpm rev-limit. The control transaxle used is an Australian designed and built Holinger MFT six-speed sequential transaxle (set gear ratios with several final-drive ratios).
So what better power-train could I have used to 'update' the Pantera 5000!
Original specs and credits:
Car mods include, repositioned and larger (120L) fuel tank, slightly redesigned front suspension, new Goodyear slicks, 10,000rpm tacho and my usual 'chassis-tweaks'.

In keeping with the 'Ford' theme of the Pantera I contacted gazman's 'paint-shop' and he kindly 'wrapped' the Pantera's in the 1972-73 Tyrrell Ford colours driven by Sir Jackie Stewert and Francois Cevert. A big thank you to gazman ... thanks mate!

Trying to emaluate the 'thunderous' sounds of the F5000 (and now the new S5000) era, I came across these modified Corvette sounds by rsvmille42 for the GTL-GTR2 mod, which I think suits them to a tee (esp. in replay!!!). Huge thanks to rsvmille42 for producing these sounds and sharing with us ... thank you sir!
Any hoot, enough of my jibberish, cheers and enjoy.

Extract folder to a location of your choice, copy 'GameData' folder directly into your GTL main folder. Will not over-write any files installed (unless you have the first F5000 version installed, in which case it will only replace the same sound files).
P.S. If there is any request for it, I can also upload the original Pantera F5000 mod ... however ... this one goes faster!
