Hey there! Here we go, finally there is a new update.
And it's a big, big improvement.

Added:
The mod is now season mods compatible.
The mod is now divided in 2 parts: Performance only and Performance + Alfa Romeo/Haas swap.
NOTE: The performance only mod is included in @JamieG18's fantastic season mod.

Tyres handle in a way more realistic way
compared to the 2022 real life vehicles. This feature could have not been possible without @JamieG18 's help.

The performance has been addressed to reflect the latest performances by teams. This includes engine performances.

I consider this mod version as final. I feel like most of the possible work has been done, so there is no sense in trying to improve it even more.

Hey there! This is a hotfix, but it still adds some cool graphic stuff. Hope you enjoy!

Addressed:
Haas and Alfa Romeo having blurry liveries

Added:
Alfa Romeo 2022 boots and caps (thanks to @Jackal-88)
Valtteri Bottas 2022 helmet (thanks to @Jackal-88 )
Zhou Guanyu 2021 helmet
2022 Alfa Romeo and Haas screens
General optimization

PLANS:
Updating performance (extremely likely)
Updating graphical stuff (likely)
Updating rpm data to better reflect ai shifting (possible)
Adding video tutorial on how to install the mod (possible)
Update tyre data according to rl (not very likely atm)
Hey there! I know you've been waiting for this one, and I hope you enjoy it. I worked really hard on it, and it's still just a base. I am sorry for the extremely big file size, but there was no other way to change everything and put it in less than 800mb.

WHAT DID THE MOD UPDATE?
Added Haas and Alfa Romeo switch
Now, you might be wondering what this is about.
When people modded Magnussen and Mazepin' faces, I thought something was wrong, as everyone did: the driver was too slow! Also, Zhou Guanyu transferred to Alfa Romeo, replacing Jesus (officially known as Antonio Giovinazzi). He seems to be quite a bit off the pace... let's get to the point:
ALL FILES have been swapped from Alfa Romeo to Haas, excluding names (you can find the name changer files in part 2)
So, Mick will have Giovi's performance, K-Mag will have Raikkonen's, Zhou will have Maz's, and Bottas will have Mick performance.
I want to thank @sparticus19 and @Jackal-88 for their fantastic contributions on Alfa and Haas' suits. Go check their work!

ALL 2022 facial driver swaps have been assigned. I know this is kind of "out of performance" related, but to see 2 Bottases... well, it just felt weird.

2022 cars performance has been updated aswell, with way more realistic physics and aerodynamics (car related, obviously). Now the order is:
Tier 1: Red Bull, Ferrari
Tier 2: Mercedes
Tier 3: Haas, Alpine, AlphaTauri Alfa Romeo
Tier 4: McLaren, Williams, Aston Martin
Also, engines have been updated. Now the engine power stands as:
Tier 1: RBPT (568), Ferrari (564)
Tier 2: Alpine (547), Mercedes (542)
The MGU-H, due to its removal in 2022, will no longer cause engine faults.
And, last but not least, DRS has been reworked. Now it's way less effective.

THE MOD, THANKS TO @sparticus19, uses his fantastic driver backgrounds. Once again, I'll tell you: go check his work, he really deserves it!

NOTE: To get realistic results in qualifying, I highly recommend using one-shot qualifying, or real formats without skipping time at all. I know this is not comfortable, but I decided to go for more realistic physics rather than realistic laptimes in simulations with weird physics in race.

THIS IS PART 1, AND WITHOUT INSTALLING PART 2 THE MOD WILL NOT WORK.

Plans for next update:
Update performance: extremely likely
Update DRS opening and closing range: quite likely
Update tire data to 2022: possible
Update upgrades power to reflect longer careers to be fun: quite unlikely atm
This is a basic update, but imo it adds some cool features.

1) MyTeam compability
Now the MyTeam car is fairly balanced to the rest of the team, even though I think you will be a little less competitive than before.

2) Dirty air, DRS and slipstream update
I slightly modified the dirty air (from the 15% loss in base game I put the value to 20% loss, as reported by drivers), the slipstream is way less powerful (before it caused a 15% loss, now the lost drag is about 7% less) and, to compensate, the DRS is way more powerful (from the 15% drag loss originally now the drag loss is about 22%).

PLANS FOR FUTURE UPDATES:
Update performance according to RL (extremely likely)
Update DRS in-game opening range (extremely likely)
Remove MGU-H failures and usage (very likely)
Switch Alfa Romeo and Haas, to better reflect driver performance (possible)
Update R&D effectiveness to bring balance in future seasons (not very likely atm)
