If you want to make these skins work with "audi_r8_lhm" mod, you should
change the name of these two files "r8_gts_body_dif" and "r8_gts_body_map" as
"r8_lhm_body_d" and "r8_lhm_body_m" for each skin. (tire and windows files too, if necessary..)

There are a few R8 mods too, you may succses to make these skins work with them by changing names of .dds files accordingly..

So this may be a noob question, but how do I get car mods to work in 1.1.4? The r8 here is my fav mod car in AC, but I don't know how to use them anymore. Please help someone in the dark here. And least I forget, love the great skin work dude!

Hard to believe 55,000 downloads on this...Audi's got a following for sure. Not a fan of the ripped mod car, that's illegal and should be discouraged in light of Kunos' achievements, but the quality work on these liveries is evident. Very good work.

Hi Bernd,

I'm totally agree with you about download count. It may be some kind server error/stuck. I was like "ok, maybe someone shared it on a huge community" when it went fastly to 300-400 but still increasing 10-20 per second :S

I don't care what people think ripped cars, I just like the mod and appreciete the work. Livery is probably much more easier than creating a car mod. I like the sound and phsyics of this car want to see a lot skins as possible.. I have no idea what Kunos do about ripped cars. I love to race against ai opponents and hot lapping alone..

I hope moderators can reach my real download count data and change it.. I observed same thing happened to a few modders too. For example this one http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/tv-movie-c7r.5745/ went froö 100 to 1000 in maybe 30 minutes and then suddenly stopped.
