Back in 2008, to familiarize themselves with the 2009 slick tyres, the FA teams ran those tyres on the 2008 cars. This test happened at Circuit de Barcelona (2007-2022 layout) after the 2008 Spanish GP.
These cars are identical to the ones made by VRC, with one exception: I've changed tyres.ini to simulate slick tyres instead of grooved tyres.
Prerequisites for this mod:
VRC Formula Alpha - Ferrenzo F07
VRC Formula Alpha - McLenna MC22
Install them before installing this mod.
Installation steps of this mod:
1) Go to content/cars in the AC folder.
2) Create a copy of vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07 and rename it to vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07_s1
3) Create a copy of vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22 and rename it to vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22_s1
3) Extract vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07_s1 and vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22_s1 from the RAR file. Replace files if prompted to do so.
5) Go to content/cars/vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07_s1/sfx in the AC folder.
6) Rename vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07.bank to vrc_formula_alpha_2007_f07_s1.bank
7) Go to content/cars/vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22_s1/sfx in the AC folder.
8) Rename vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22.bank to vrc_formula_alpha_2007_mc22_s1.bank
Unlike my F2004 Physics Pack, this mod is a physics mod only as VRC has chosen to protect the 3D models of their mods (we can't extract the 3D model for any purpose because of this).
