I know that if you have many tracks and cars ... the file is rather heavy.
Maybe that's the reason why you have problems.

You might try what I mostly do for adding one or 2 elements:
Keep the original zip file ... make a copy ... delete a part of the tracks and cars off the file .... it'll be less big and might help ... if the connection between the http display and the Stracker itself in the remote server is not excellent.

NB but use rather Chrome ... not sure the system is now optimized for IE as it wasn't before.
I've left just the track and cars I needed and it works now, thank you!

Hi!
I rent 2 servers from Rackservice and i am curious about the live map,
is there a guide to set it up or can you do some hints about it ;)

Hi again i manage to get it to one of the servers at rackservice but the other one don´t i understand to do.
best regards
Anders

For sharing the database, you'd have to have access to the same file in the two servers. I don't know if this is possible or not with rackservice. If it's not possible, you'd have to use two http servers.

What I think is ... that one port has to be exactly the same in stracker.ini and stracker2.ini... and it might not be the case in your stracker2.ini

This line in the HTTP Config part of the stracker2.ini
; tcp listening port of the http server
listen_port = 50041

This listen port have to be the same in Stracker.ini and Stracker2.ini

But this line has to be different in Stracker and Stracker2.ini:

In Stracker.ini this line has to be like this:
; set to 1, if you want to start a http server for statistics access
enabled = True

In Stracker2.ini it has to be like this:
; set to 1, if you want to start a http server for statistics access
enabled = False

No need to start a http server for server 2 as all results are included in the same database as Server 1.

What you should do is have a look at Neys's stracker.ini files in his own example servers at his own site. Compare both his ini files to see what's the same and what's the difference between the 2 ini files.

It helps a lot afterwards when you finally understand perfectly how it is working.

I did that, same database different ports. Two instance of acserver and stracker one is stracker.ini and the other is stracker2.ini. it isnt working, i can only see the sessions on server one but not on server 2.

You are really sure that they are using the same database?

it worked fine :) i just uploaded the file to both sTracker sites and the support are great there :)

and thanks to you Neys for the support

Dear Neys,

I have multiple AC room in my server, I would like to setup stracker for all of the server.
I tried to setup stracker for single server and I able to get it work.
If I have 3 AC server running, how many stracker do I need to run?
you mentioned that have to keep separate .ini files in your documentation, means 1 stracker with multiple .ini files or multiple stracker with 1 stracker.ini in each of the folder?

if 1 stracker with multiple .ini file, do I have to edit start-stracker.cmd in order to run all .ini in 1 shot?
if multiple stracker for multiple server I am getting this error message in the log

stracker[ERROR]: Caught exception in server loop:
stracker[ERROR]: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "stracker_lib\ac_monitor.py", line 1773, in run
File "stracker_lib\stracker_udp_plugin.py", line 173, in __init__
File "externals\acplugins4python\ac_server_plugin.py", line 99, in __init__
File "externals\acplugins4python\ac_server_plugin.py", line 129, in openSocket
OSError: [WinError 10048] Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted

Looking forward to your soonest reply, thanks in advance.

Best regards
Max
