Update on the MR2. Going to miss it's first event in Mod 2wd this weekend, but hopefully I will have it back up before the last event of the year in November.

I've always liked them MR2's

My new/used car that i bought last week :). A 2005 Honda S2000, only had 32000kms on it, came with a factory hard top and car is bone stock which i like. The previous owner hardly drove this car, was kept in a garage and kept the car in absolute mint shape. My original plan was to get myself a MX5 but wasn't finding a good one and the only good one i did see was an automatic . Anyways after test driving this baby i had to have it :DView attachment 101098

Nice! i like the color of it. So how have you been liking your car?

Its great! I know when its new its hard to do, but take my word for it. Its a Honda that revs to 9000 and has some serious handling, thus it enjoys being driven like you hate it. Drive more than spiritedly every day, this car (excuse the graphic nature of this metaphor) needs to be driven like an angry German pornstar. THAT will maximize your smiles per dollar. :)

Not in the same category, but the little motor in this car has taken well to high revs and it has around 188,000 miles on it. Of course this only revs to 7400 which is high compared to many cars, but not that motorcycle/f1 thing you have stuffed under the hood of the ap1. And here is a new picture for good measure. I have had this car over ten years now, and it was made about 19 years ago, so all things considering I am pretty happy with the condition it is currently in.

Are those aftermarket rims on your car?

Mine is the AP2 it revs up to 8000rpm but still all good. Mine is not so much a daily driver, i have two other vehicles that i use as my daily drivers. I've driven my car aggresively quite a few times since i've bought it. These S2000's are a fantastic handling car! Living in Vancouver there are really no good roads around to drive on with a exception of two and i need to be aware of the fact that the police patrol those roads. I don't have the privilege of having a good track nearby which sucks because a trackday would be awesome.

Well that's my rev limiter not my redline, the redline is only 6900/7000 but I don't mind taking it higher when the mood hits. Of course it is a significantly cheaper to replace motor so that does make it easier to drive hard. That and while it is driven hard, it is well cared for.

Im still rockin stock rims.

Here's an older picture of mine. Those wheels weren't the best of choices but just wanted something different than the black or gunmetal it has had for many years. So not the greatest picture of the car, but I thought it was worth posting because of the background. Look familiar?

While I have had the chance to visit and walk around laguna seca I have never watched a race there or driven it in real life. I will be getting to drive it next month for the first time! I am definitely looking forward to it. I will be out there in the Honda. I will try to take some pictures of the track.
