Wait what? :(

10.1 – RDRC-3:- R3, R2 and R1 Car Packs as well as A6, A6K (excluding Citroen Saxo T4) , Ford Escort Mk I/II/V, Volvo 242LE, Renault Alpine A310, Renault 8Gordini, Skoda 130, Toyota AE86, Lada 21107, Alfa 33

10.4 – RDRC-2: N4_S2000_1, N4_S2000_2, A8_1, A8_2, A8_3 and R4 car packs

Does that mean no N4_3 Lancer Evo X? :(

I would like to know what is considered an illegal line?

During practice it happened a couple of times that i went inside a hairpin because of pulling the handbrake to early, possibly even getting up to all 4 wheels off the track. And if we notice something like that happened can we slow down for a short moment so it´s clear we didn´t gain an advantage, to avoid getting a penalty?

If you miss one hairpin, you are so far off any cutting rule, so just drive. Don't think about it.
As I told Jonatan earlier, a clean racer, that doesn't cut, will not be in any risk of any penalty by messing up some hairpins during the rallies. However, a clear deliberate cut, will be penalized even if the driver doesn't meet the 1/3 or 1/2 regulations (I'm especially thinking about some shortcuts on Rally School and Sheperds Shield).

Basic, if you mess up one corner, don't think about it, just go on. Did you mess up two on your way up, a stage like Cote D'arbroz don't think about it, just go on.

However, if you know that you are running on the edge of the rules, all the time. You should slow down enough to loose time, to avoid a penalty.
This does not mean that you will escape a penalty though.

Did that even help?

Ok, yes I don´t plan to run illegal lines and i´m not constantly on the limit with that, so shouldn´t be a problem. I always try to keep at least 2 wheels on the road.

I know cutting rules can be very different from league to league and this is my first Rally Championships, so i wanna make sure i´m not going over the limit.

It's less strict than in road racing, happens to most people. It's the deliberate ones, the ones you know of and decide to take that are the issue.

I've had my share of cuts. Although, I was perpendicular to the road in most of them. The only way to roll.
Pun not intended, but enjoyed.

I always liked the one on the back of the box:

"Wait... Think... Breathe... Concentrate... Put the car into gear... Floor the throttle... Go!"

And the promo vid Norbert and Fernando did was kick-ass.

Hmm...

On the second of March, the fifth season of the RaceDepartment Rally Championship kicks off with the Rallye de Monaco. The legendary rally comes to life on the virtual stage. A barrage of weather and road conditions will challenge all the drivers just to finish the tricky event and earn vital points for the championship.

The RDRC will see drivers compete on twelve different events through two series. A mixture of surfaces will test the drivers skill as they compete to become the RDRC Champion. From the snow of Rally Norway, to the tarmac of Rally Alsace, and the gravel of the Rally of Wales - the season is designed to test a drivers car control, concentration, commitment... and speed.

With 4 different competition classes drivers of all skill levels can enter, and with Special Stage racing, you can't interfere with other driver's times - creating a perfect environment for the beginner.

From the low-powered turbo four-wheel drives of the Production car championship, to the high revs of the naturally aspirated S2000 cars. The front-wheel drive cars, that require pin-point precision for quick times, to the ultimate rally machines - the WRC cars. There is a car appropriate for every driver's skill level.

Sign-ups are still open! Read the rules here.

I'm too tired to be creative, but there's a base for someone else to work with.

In your profile. Like MULLIGATAWNY. He got all great grades in school. ;-) It`s also in SAVED GAMES like pfMULLIGATAWNY.acm, pfMULLIGATAWNY.rbr and pfresult.rst. You save those with your name.

Thank you Emil! I'll do that.

Warren also said to note down some settings I have for the game, the fixup.ini and the screen resolution spring to mind, not sure what else.
