Really nice qualifying effort from Mane, but a shame that he couldn't make it even better for the race.

RAUTAVAARA ROMPS TO VICTORY

Joel Rautavaara has provided another twist to the championship this season, picking up his second win to move into second place. With three races remaining, the runner up from Season 3 is looking good to go one better, finding himself just 16 points behind Tapio Rinneaho. For his countryman, who finished second today, 3 more 2nd place finishes to the ART driver will see him go down by 5 points after leading so much of the season. Manolis Sigoulakis is close too, just 19 points down on Rinneaho and 3 from Rautavaara, but his form isn't as strong, he managed 3rd in Abu Dhabi and looked off the pace of the leading Finns.
Behind, Aaron Reed was unable to hold out Sigoulakis at the end of the race, but had just enough in his DTK to condemn Vimal Ana to yet another 5th place. So far this season, the Singaporean has either finished P5 or retired. Mane Goddard couldn't keep up the pace to hold onto a podium spot, slipping from the front row to 6th at the flag, with Nathan Cornes and Ben Utzer behind. Donald Brugman was a sensational 9th place, holding off a fast charging Pablo Diehl who inexplicably pitted on the same lap as Rinneaho. He's now 35 points off the pace and looking like he won't be able to go one better than S1.
Both DCT cars of Josh Noack and Matteo Heymans struggled through the race, only making it to 11th and 12th. Sasha Jednak, Jack Laskey, Stephan Bohner, Oorjit Mishra and Rui Martins all made it to the flag as well. Daniel Harvey was only two corners from two points when he retired, his car grinding to a stop agonisingly close. Rob Sharp was classified 3 laps down as his engine expired as well. The race didn't go to plan for Tobi Kederer (Oil Leak), Aidan Keranen and James McNamara (both transmission) as they retired early and lost out important positions for their respective teams.

RDFIA Press Conference
@Joel A second win today, and you're in a pretty good spot in the championship now. How confident are you to take the title after second last season now?
@TTupsi Worried at all about the form of the Apex cars right now?
@Manolis Sigoulakis Similar to Tapio, the 2KF1 seems a bit behind the other cars at the moment, do you think you're still a realistic chance?

Press Paddock
@Milos In between races you were vocal about the lack of time for driver preparation, namely with Vimal. Do you think he could have done better today otherwise?
@Millsy24 Heartbreaking to be so close and stop dead on the track, was there a reason or just cruel luck?
@Márk Lintner @Diehl Worrying signs from ART, but lets talk about that stacked pitstop?
