Hey all. Due to unforseeable events, I no longer have the time to write up race reports. I simply do not have the time. If anyone would like too, you are more than welcome. I will however continue to run Forum Racing, but writing up seems an unnessecerry wast of time
Sorry :(
Matt

EDIT: Race report will be on Tuesday.

If you're still scratching your heads with the Honk pointscoring system..

Here's how it works.

Honk's pointscoring system is made to ensure every drivers who raced in a certain race scores points.

Driver who finished at the back will score 1 point.
Every place better: +1 point added from the driver behind him
Then top 3 will be added 2 points from the driver behind him.

However, in an Endurance race, the numbers will be doubled. (Nominated rules for next season)
Driver who finished at the back will score 2 point.
Every place better: +2 point added from the driver behind him
Then top 3 will be added 4 points from the driver behind him.

So example if 10 players finished a Sprint race:

1st - 13 (+2)
2nd - 11 (+2)
3rd - 9 (+2)
4th - 7 (+1)
5th - 6 (+1)
6th - 5 (+1)
7th - 4 (+1)
8th - 3 (+1)
9th - 2 (+1)
10th - 1

So a 13-starter Endurance race will result in a:

1st - 32 (+4)
2nd - 28 (+4)
3rd - 24 (+4)
4th - 20 (+2)
5th - 18 (+2)
6th - 16 (+2)
7th - 14 (+2)
8th - 12 (+2)
9th - 10 (+2)
10th - 8 (+2)
11th - 6 (+2)
12th - 4 (+2)
13th - 2 (+2)

T
he 2 race per GP rule

After some controversy, the 2 race per GP rule will be renominated again at the next round of "You Decide".

Each GP will contain of 2 races, Sprint and Feature with names taken from past, present, and future GPs.

NOTE: This rule will not apply in Endurance races

Sprint Race
Basically in this race you just post "finish" after the race is started. Double posting will be DNF/DSQ

Feature Race
In this race you will have to post "Start" then wait for one hour. Then post "pit" ("pit1" is acceptable) and wait for another hour. Then post "finish". First to post "start" will get a pole bonus (+1 points) If you double post or posting outside the time window, you will be DNFed/DSQed.

MASTER NOTE

I'll clarify this again so another "GP-gate" won't break:

All races WILL score points according to the Honk system

I repeat...

All races WILL score points according to the Honk system

Endurance race

This race is similar as Feature race but longer, after posting "Start", players must post "pit" 3 times, as "pit1", "pit2", and "pit3" with one hour between posts ("pit1" may be left numberless). Then, players must wait for another hour before posting "finish".

(NEW!) Signing-up rule

Nomitated for the next round of "You Decide"

To join, just post a team name you would like. However, all teams must be a past, present and future F1 constructor!

7 Viljar Parts [Jordan] +1 LAP
8 Rhys Gardiner [Williams] +1 LAP

DNQ Niels Pedersen

Yet another empty entry list with 8 qualifiers, should have been nine, but Niels Pedersen's gearbox gives up during his run, thus posting a time 108% of the polesitter's time, resulting in a DNQ. Sebastien Levret in the Sauber posted a time quick enough for the pole, outscores Omer Said by a full tenths of a second, followed by Gardiner, Duivelaar, bduddy, Honk, Viljar, and Ben Tusting rounds up the grid.

On raceday, an unusual torrential rain has poured over the whole Hockenheim track. All the drivers made it through, but Rhys. He slips through the exit of the Nordkurve, putting him back a few places, now just ahead of Viljar.

Gardiner keeps his bad luck going, as he tries to pass Honk through Ostkurve, but Parts sways wildly during the brakes, and couldn't avoid Gardiner in front. Both escapes the wreck unharmed, but Viljar had to make an unscheduled stop due to a ripped nosecone, and Gardiner with a punctured tyre.

Back on front, the wheel-to-wheel banging in the rain continues. Omer Said tries to pass Levret, and nails it. Honk sees an opportunity going to the Sachs Kurve, but failed. bduddy, Honk and Duivelaar continues to swap places throughout the track, with Duivelaar ended up in second on the Senna Kurve.

Although the battle remains heated up, only 9 times of lead changes occur until the end of the race. Omer Said broken through the chase at the Sudkurve, and blitzes through the line for a fantastic victory, with Peter Duivelaar and Sebastien Levret rounds up the podium. Although we have never seen a duel like this in a torrential rain, it's still a boring race with less entrants.
