The next scheduled release, RACE On will target all PC owners with a bit of petrol in their blood and comes with a very strong selection of new challenging content including the tracks and cars from WTCC season 2008 which turned out to be the best and most competitive championship ever. SimBin has recreated the epic 2008 season down to the smallest detail and now YOU get the chance to show the world who the real champion is. Jump in the car of your favorite racing driver and compete with the best through 12 unique tracks located around the globe including Okayama.

Race On also marks a new focus from SimBin with the inclusion of iconic Detroit Muscle cars suited for those who like to lay down lots of rubber power sliding out of corners on the rev limiter. Enough torque to drag the moon off orbit, full opposite lock and a big grin on your face.

To finish the new lineup SimBin brings you Formula Masters, a top of the line open wheel series, offering you even more speed and action than ever before. Extreme cornering speeds and simulated g-forces make this a true driver’s car.

But RACE On is not just new cars, it also features brand new American tracks in SimBin quality and it comes with a hefty update of existing tracks to 2008 standard. With RACE ON comes 5 brand new tracks all recreated down to minute detail.

As a bonus the game also includes the complete “STCC The Game” (The Swedish Touring Car Championship) which has previously only been released in retail stores in the Nordic territory and Russia. The tight and technical Scandinavian circuits and the wide variety of touring cars running in the series have already created a large following so SimBin is happy to be able to offer this package to the rest of the world including 7 Nordic tracks and 6 unique car models.

About RACE On
RACE On includes the following new content:

* 16 unique car models in 8 classes with over 140 variations.
* 12 tracks of which several never has been released by SimBin on PC.

RACE On will be available as a stand alone game including all RACE 07 content and an expansion pack for existing owners of RACE 07 will also be available.

All in all this makes up for:

* 39 unique car models in 17 classes with over 450 variations.
* 30 tracks and 17 alternate layouts, in total 47 tracks.

For current owners of GTR Evolution RACE On is designed to merge and fully integrate with the existing GTR Evolution. RACE On is scheduled for release in Q2 2009

All I want is driver is swaps that actually work not like rFactors attempt I think SimBin has pretty much taken over the domination factor for most the of the worlds online leagues, SimBin went from 1 of the most difficult Sims to manage Liveries online, to by far the best. But one area that rFactor still leads in, other than superior netcode, is the fact its the only Sim still in use that you can run a real endurance race in such as a 12H or 24H event.

Ability to see how much the just driven best lap beat the previous one ( like we see the difference if we do not make the best lap)

Full flag rules & full safety car and medical car ! (seconding that, and praying like mad)

A warmup lap before standing start, with all rules for correct positioning.

A full race restart feature if the safety car is called.

A possibility to have car failure right on start, forcing another installation lap. (by computer controlled cars preferably ;-) )

A pit information box on pit wall

Dynamic weather so that a dry line appears after a rain - not generic dry line where it is expected, but a fully dynamic one depending on where cars actually drive.

Ability to drive opponents setups without seeing the actual values ( i know, this might get problematic, as when any info gets to a computer, it can be retrieved...) in special events.

Supoport for endurance races, where pilots swap positions during pitting, so that more ppl can drive in turns same car.

It has International Formula Meister. Now, question is, is it season 08, meaning no new tracks with it, or season 09, with Hungaroring and the Belgian Spa(m)? There's only something like 5 new tracks we haven't seen in the other expansions. We guess 2 will certainly be american tracks from Race Pro.. Then three more to go. Two could be Spa + Hungaro for IFM, and the last could be yet another American?

Can I ask what moved you to think about Spa and Hongaroring?

Silly Suggestion !

I would like to see them cross Race On with the Battlefield Series, what an awesome game - your just lining up for a WTCC event on the grid when America starts to invade with Gunships, tanks and ground troops!

The objective is to stay alive and avoid enemy fire, whilst your passengers attemp to shoot at the enemy!!

Ok - at least give me a helicopter, preferably a Huey Gunship - I don't even mind if its guns are replaced with camreas and all my 'shots' are just screenies or video, but how awesome would it be to be able to fly round in a chopper in game - taking film. I know I can do this in free camera - wonder if it would be hard to map the keyboard controls to a flight joystick and get some genius to add helicopter type physics/graphics/sounds to the game.... Perhaps I should just go reinstall my all time favourite Battlefied Game - Battlefield Vietnam, instead of getting all nostalgic for the Huey here...still wonder if its possible though...

Can I ask what moved you to think about Spa and Hongaroring?

Because if they are doing the 09 season the only 2 tracks which are on the calender and not in Race07 are SPA and Hungaroring

They have one already from GTR as a base so it seams logical and cost effective.

Another idea. Hopefully the servernames get lined out properly to the left! There are some very childish hosts that fill in their servername with a lot of spaces on the left so they show up as first in the lobby. Looks really stupid imo, and i hope it will get soved

how about working realistic rear view mirrors so you dont have to use the virtual mirror that disables the side view mirrors.

and a readable gear display that is blocked by the steering wheels on some cars so you dont have to turn off the visible steering wheels for it to be viewable.

Flag Stand and Race Flags

I would like to see a flag stand at the start/finish line with a man waving all of the flags during the race. I think that it would be interesting to see yellow flags at the corners during the race or the whole sector waves the flags.
