Very smooth lap there, think you could have gone quicker though, looks like your exit from turn 4 went a bit wide as that kerb as you exit bounces the car slightly, I reckon you could sneak into the 1:30.xxx bracket, will post my new set up which I find is much more suited for a race set up and will probably do a video with it, need to get the use out of this Hauppauge!
Thanks, yeah I felt that I could have definitely gone faster, due to the fact that I was using a setup that was actually designed for the Ferrari lol. I feel I could get into the mid to high 1:30's if I set up the car properly.
Looking forward to seeing your setup and vid.
Will it also be an HRT?

I might try it in the HRT, my set up at Australia was used with a McLaren, but tested it in Lotus-Renault and still found it fairly comfortable, was only on really worn tyres when it struggled. Will give it a go in various cars, it's mainly a race set up but hopefully the set up works with other cars! Don't think I've drove the HRT on this game yet!

In theory this set up shouldn't have worked too well. I tried most other set ups posted and was getting either a lot of understeer through first few corners or oversteer through last section. This seems to have cleared that up somewhat with less sliding in last few corners. Still getting minced through last section by everyone else (don't get their speed through there) but the car feels balanced and pretty smooth. Not great at set ups but I try till i find something that works.

I can break into the 1:21s but everything has to be PERFECT, I wish to work on my Malaysia setup though now.

Assists: Yes

This has never been one of my fave circuits ever, but playing on it today was quite the pleasure. I tried many different values after arriving at this setup, but always ended up reverting back to this.

It was then, as I was about to give up hope on improving, that I posted a time 4 tenths quicker then my last. I knew this setup could break me into the 1:22s and I was so happy to see the 1:22 appear on my screen when I crossed the line.

Used full 100% KERS off the last corner, then roughly 50% on the following straight. On the 1:22 lap I got a perfect exit out of the extremely annoying turns 11 and 12, and used the rest of my KERS down there. I think it can be improved, but not by much, i was very pleased with myself.

EDIT: This setup was drastically changed after trying the setup posted by Manalys. I very highly recommend this setup for Time trial, 1:21s are definitely possible if you can nail every corner, whether you use assists or not, its doable.

The only difference between mine and Manlys setup is the gear ratios. My previous setup is better for people who have trouble with keeping the car on track though. This setup makes braking more difficult, and the car is more likely to slide, but you gain so much in acceleration, its well worth changing over.

Which assists did you use?

I just managed to do a 1:25:072 with this setup during Multiplayer Qualifying session (Fuel SIM enabled of course):

mod-edit: no more videos. regular game videos can be posted in our videos section http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/media/

I think I can still improve another ~2 tenths probably on the middle sector.

Overall perfect setup, car feels very stable under braking and during all curves.

I play my career with joypad offline.
1.Do you know if there are differences between online-offline cars.
2.If you play with steering wheel how much difference between wheel and joypad.

Online cars are as fast as the fastest offline car, so Red Bull - Mclaren, so pretty much the same car as online. :)

In the video above you played with xbox 360 pad?
I ask you because I see in video the smoothness of movements on the steering wheel when turning.
There are differences between Xbox 360 pad and PS3 pad?
I played with PS3 pad on PC and my movements on steering is very convulsive when turning
with analogue sticks of Pad.

Yes, in the video I played with Xbox 360 pad.

The movements are very smooth because I got used to driving on the pad and making it smooth, it's hard, but it's nice. :D

Can you tell me?
What are your own Xbox 360 pad wheel advanced settings.
And what is your button configuration .Which key what to control?
