Cars Matra MS650 Work in Progress

As I have mentioned on one of my previous entries on Special Stage Route 5, I have been doing a project alongside the famous track from Gran Turismo series. Well I am now presenting the project that I have been working on and its the Matra MS650, a famous race car from the 1969 Le Mans endurance.
Its currently about halfway through production with few things left to do like the engine parts and engine cover, wing mirror, texturing the cockpit, interior and the aformentioned little details I need as well as create normal maps for any part that needs it.

Everyone knows that's how you make a car go faster! Well, that and painting stripes on it, of course, but stripe-painting tech didn't reach France until the 70s.

Update on the Matra it has been a while but unfortunately my University has kept me really busy with work and been having to divert my time to get it finished as soon as possible so I can get back to doing these projects and Special Stage Route 5, plus work experience hunting and general rest time I need as well.

Anyway here is the Matra now setup to be driveable within Assetto Corsa. It still needs few things ironing out, and few texture work as well as getting the shaders in AC to look just right and fit for the model

Project is slowly moving along, I have managed to get quite a few major milestones to advance this project towards the end.
I've set up the cameras so they're in correct places, the driver has correct place in the seat and on the steering wheel and best part is the steering wheel turns with the character, I have gone and modified the original animation file to better fir the steering wheel and the character together and got best result for gear shifting as I can at this current moment.

Also lets show the Longtail version of the car that will also be done

Thank you kindly for the response and as far as the 1972 version I have not yet had any plans for other year models as of yet.

Few small details are now being worked on to try and make the car as authentic to the original Matra as possible.
- Rivets to the Headlight Glass have been added
- Rear Engine deck has been lowered and smoothed to match the shape of the original car
- Cockpit has been bulged out a bit more and rivets have been redone and given a normal map
- Detail has been given to area under the cockpit with extra switches and wires
- Rear deck where it meets with Engine Deck has been smoothed at the rear to more closely resemble the real article
- Intakes at the back of the Longtail version have been added
- Adjusted the side intake topology to work better with AC's lighting
- Size of the Seat, Steering Wheel and Driver has been adjusted.
- Front intake shape has also been adjusted and more rounded on sides and elevated at the top
