Let's keep a little thread going about what iRacing has in store for us in the (near) future. Some things have been announced, some targets have been rumoured and who knows what you have picked up in the darkest recesses of the net...

Below I will put up some things I find or found. Please post any news, rumours or hints below so one of the moderators can update this thread.

I don't have time to read this entire thread, but the DK2 support in iRacing is in beta testing right now, working really well, and will be in the next release. It seems to work best when configured in "extended desktop mode". The UI rendering has been redone this time to fix it in 3D space, it's really cool. The resolution is much improved in the DK2 - and the experience is really intense.

Pretty disappointed with them just recycling the GT2 car and not getting a proper GT3 one. I'd rather wait for the real one than just physics slapping old cars in an attempt to up car count.

Build notes are out!
NTM updates:

- The tire tread band yaw response has been improved, and is much better at low speeds, and when stopped. Now while at very low speeds the steering will feel heavy because you are trying to turn the tread but it is not able to roll enough to relax that motion. You should be able to feel the difference in higher and lower pressures much more at low speeds now. The tire will feel different even up to 80 mph, where the new low speed code approaches the old model.

No iRating adjustments are made in Team Driving sessions.

But you get it for free if you own the GT2 car so that's not terrible is it? Free?
