HistorX Mod Version 1.96 & DL link

As a avid GTL club racer im always on the look out for the next GTL, and after a good few days testing with fellow club drivers im very impressed with this mod,
I feel it may be a successor to GTL for a club racing, the ffb is very good with the real feel plugin, superb sounds from the cars plenty of well made liveries and a great selection of cars to choose from.

Who is driving this mod would any be interested in using this mod for club racing, with the added bonus
of other content from Rfactor to be used once in a while for fun nights, If we get enough interest i will consider running a few test nights to see how it all comes together as a package.

Enjoyed what I've tried so far, fun to drive with the "slinky" suspension on some of the big heavy cars

No, I've only ever installed using the digital download version of GTL.

I know I'm a little late to get this version of HistorX but does anyone know of an alternative to get v1.96 besides torrent? I only ask because I've been trying to get it for several days and nobody is seeding.

I'd really appreciate if somone could help me out, thanks

This is a link to a post on the HistorX FB page.
There is a Simbin mega bundle including GTL on Steam for around £5.
I thought it may be useful for people who can't buy GTL and don't like the idea of using a work around? Runs out tomorrow though.

I'm afraid this has already expired, or is UK only? For me, the bundle now is €29,95, which still is better value for money than paying €22,99 for just rFactor but IMO neither one is a bargain really ..

I've been reading this thread and I'm interested as well. I've been practicing a bit but I am still on v1.95. I started the process to upgrade to 1.96 but I'm unable to get part 2 of the download. I used the mediafire link on page 14 of this thread and was able to get part 1. I have also set up a fresh install of rFactor lite. Hoping to get this sorted and join you guys. Any tips/advice is appreciated. Meanwhile...I'm going to go re-read the tips and tricks thread. Hope to see you on track soon.

If you've tried this, without success, maybe @Yves Larose or @Jarek Kostowski can help?
They're really helpful and everyone who joins in the club races is always happy to welcome new members.

Yeah Dennis, I ended up getting it sorted. I'm going to work on getting it set up tonight. I may be able to make it to Sunday's event.

OK nice one. I can tell from your mention of a fresh install of rFactor that you read the manual. Just follow it to the letter and you should be fine. I can't make it Sunday, but i wish you the best of luck and welcome to the club.

I'm a bit slow with simracing stuff this week because of a family guest we have until Monday or Tuesday but drop me a pm and i'll help you with anything HistorX related. As Denis has stated you should be fine if you follow the manual closely, thanks @Denis Betty .

Some of us struggled to get the ffb text in the controller.ini right on the first try, so here's an .ini already set up for HistorX ffb, just replace yours in Userdata/Your Profilename: http://www.mediafire.com/download/vx6th1rco7hpyhi/Controller.ini

I have installed this great mod.

But I can't open the file with information for which tracks I need to download for the championships.. . Can anybody list the names of the tracks needed please, would really appreciate it!
