GT6 Gran Turismo 6 - Leagues?

Hey there,

Has anyone thought of any possible leagues that could be a possibility for GT6?

Maybe something like the FIA World Endurance Championship? DTM?

Obviously, not many people know how much customization you can do to the cars in GT6. If GT5 is anything to go off of, then I guess there will only be a few cars that you can make look like actual touring cars.

I'm just wondering what everyone's thoughts and opinions would be on some competitive, friendly leagues.

I'd be more than happy to run a touring car league for GT6 as I think it's one of, if not the best simulation games out there.

So, I have been writing up a sort of rulebook for my Clio League idea, but I haven't got GT6 until the 25th of this month so, does this sound okay to people? --

Renault-Sport Championship


The Rulebook:

Driving Standards

• Drivers must respect the track limits.
• Drivers must respect other drivers on track.
• Drivers must try to avoid contact wherever possible.
• Drivers must return to the track safely after a mistake.
• Drivers must not hinder another when being lapped.
• Drivers must not gain an advantage when leaving the circuit.
• Drivers must stay inside the pit lane entry and exit line in all sessions.
• In Qualifying, drivers not on a hot lap must allow faster cars through.

Forum Rules

• Drivers in the league must be licensed members of RaceDepartment.
• Only thread directors may create threads within the league’s forum.
• Drivers may be involved in light-hearted banter until staff intervene.
• Drivers may post in all threads unless told otherwise.
• Drivers will be banned from one event of the season for a forum ban.
• Three forum bans in a season will incur a two race ban.

Car Specification

· Cars allowed in the divisions:

Division One: Renault-Sport Clio

Division Two: Renault-Sport Megane Trophy

• Car specifications will be released in the “Car Scrutiny” thread.
• Car Performance Points will be published in “Car Scrutiny”.
• Screen shots of each car’s PP will be published if needed.

Car Design

· Drivers will receive a template to submit their car design.

· Drivers must notify league organisers for a change of design.

· Cars must have a clear number.

That hasn't answered my question,

Simberia is for spammers and other users. If you get a forum ban you wont be able to race for any event on RD.

If you guys are about to create a league then I want to propose something. I am developing a league hosting web app, its in a kind of evolving beta right now and I want to partner up with a league to test it. Basically I have a website which can host the league taking care of things like driver registrations, computing results and producing results tables etc. There is private league communications and only league members have access to certain areas.

The league could still be run in this forum though, my site can output league tables in forum code. In essence I am building an app to do all the heavy lifting like driver registration, calendars, results, mass communications and tracking complete driver and league histories.
