The Touring Car Season is back! Er... Sort of.
After it was deemed that the fresh-faced Season 10 of RDTCC could not continue, we have redoubled our efforts and now the season is back ready for a re-run with the SuperV8!
The Car
The SuperV8 by Reiza aims to closely emulate that of the Australian Holden V8 Supercar. A car which produces upwards of 600 horsepower, weighs in excess of 1,400 kilograms and has no traction control or ABS. As a result, only the drivers who can adapt and cope with the demands of a V8 Supercar will achieve success!

Pre-Qualifying, Promotion and Relegation
Due to the unusual circumstances, the
results from Adelaide will serve as a pre-qualifying result to the grid for Round 1 at Buenos Aires. The top 30 drivers in the results will be placed in the first division, and the remaining drivers will make up the grid for the second division with the addition of new entrants.
Drivers will no longer be promoted or relegated based on their standing in the championship, but rather their position in each individual race. The top three drivers from server two will be promoted to server one, and the bottom three drivers in server one will be relegated to server two.
Liveries
A custom livery is what makes league racing special. Drivers who participated in the RDTCC Qualifying race at Adelaide do not need to resubmit a skin. All new incoming are welcome to create their own personalised skin, however if you are unable to then we can supply you with a generic RDTCC skin. For further information, please check out our dedicated livery thread. From there, a fresh skin pack will be compiled and released to the drivers for download when ready.
Points System
General Rules
- Season 10 of the RDTCC will operate in accordance with the 2016 RD League Regulations unless specifically outlined as otherwise.
- Pit stops are not mandatory, however drivers are free to enter the pitlane should they need to.
- At seasons end, the top 5 drivers in the Drivers' Championship will qualify automatically for a place in the upcoming RaceDepartment Le Mans series, should they wish to compete.
Absences
This is one of the most important parts of the league briefing you need to understand! When you sign up to the RDTCC, we expect you to be present during all the races. This commitment shows respect to the league, your fellow drivers and the organisation.
If you can't make it to the next race please report your absence in the
dedicated thread so we can inform a reserve driver to take over your slot.
Prizes!
For this season we have a fantastic prize package with thanks to
Thrustmaster which will be outlined soon...
