The drip feeding of content continues for Forza Motorsport, as the Nürburgring Nordschleife will arrive in February 2024.

While the Grand Prix layout of the hallowed German venue is currently present, the northern loop layout was scheduled for spring of this year.

But, instead, it arrives in the winter – a pleasant surprise. However, it does make you wonder about the pre-release claim about re-built circuits. Could this just be the Forza Motorsport 7 representation with a slight spruce-up like the recently released Daytona?

Update 5, proposed fixes

Alongside the new track variation, and likely cars for the Car Pass and re-hashed FM7 models for single-player rewards, Update 5 is set to include a long list of bug fixes.

It’s important to note, however, that this is a proposed list and not quite a guarantee as it stands. We expect a full change log next month, naturally.

A chief complaint since launch has been the replay system, which for all intents and purposes either doesn’t work or does but then crashes the game. Saved a multiplayer race replay? Forget it.

Forza Motorsport February 2024 Update 5

The current list does not categorically state that recaps of online races will now work, sadly, although crashes during replay access should be reduced at least.

Skipping the interminable practice sessions is set to be more straightforward, with an option before the session as opposed to within the on-track pause menu.

Rejoice, you should also be able to paint upgraded brake callipers. Yay. But significant changes to the upgrade system, and AI performance, aren’t expected until later updates.

While there are a host of smaller changes, currently in testing are some fixes that will hopefully improve frame rate steadiness on PC. Let’s see if they are successful next month.

Estimated arrival

The work-in-progress list of potential changes for Forza Motorsport is listed below, but we’ll return with the final list and a run-down of all the new content closer to its release.

A date is not yet confirmed, the final car pass release (of four) for Update 4 lands on 8th February, so we would anticipate its release ahead of the 15th.

What would you like to see from Forza Motorsport next? Let us know in the comments below or discuss in our forum.

I can't believe they are not even discussing the sections of the track disappearing or the very blurry dashboard. There is not enough storage on the internet to properly list all the issues with this scam of game... Fire the Sr. management, there is no other way to save Turn 10.

Is it still an issue for some people, supposed to be fixed, honestly never had it myself, and the game is only getting better with every update.

Still no radar? Also it doesn't seem like these tracks were even built from the ground up, may as well not have drip fed them to people but I guess FOMO and small content updates are the only things games can do nowadays to retain their playerbase.
With you here - It really doesn't seem like, apart from a few at launch, these venues are rebuilt at all.

So, The strategy to take every short cut possible and treat the customer base with 5000 ton of contempt continues full speed ahead.
All the people who actually bought this game deserve to be treated with contempt.

I knew better than to buy it. I knew it was going to be a disaster.

People should of known.

Now they get what they deserve: a broken game and an abusive relationship with an evil corporation they chose to get involved with.

Oh well. Cry me a river suckers.

The graphics for year 2023 can be better, agree, they did improve DLAA rendering in recent update, so it is not as bad as on release day. Hopefully more polish will follow as articles outlines. Even in the current state it's better than iRacing, rFactor2, R3E, and vanilla AC, weather and time of the day effects can be quite dramatic.
Force Feedback is pretty good, so is simplified, but sensible and believable physics.
Driving with SC2 Pro and tactile is very satisfying and reasonably challenging experience.
Is it full blown sim, nope, but it doesn't claim to be one, while offering closer to proper sim racing driving challenge than some other pretend sim titles.

I'm thinking now Steam have set a precedent with The Day Before by delisting and forcing refunds they should continue to do so with other games that are marketed through outright lies and whose intent is to deceive for profit.

Forza should be on that list.

more tracks that directly relate to motorsport and rework the career mode - it is simply disgusting.. why was it not initially done as in the 4 part?

but what about those people who bought it through a xbox store?

Since it was updated for the second time, I stopped starting the game, it has been impossible for me to play it for months, and I still can't find a solution, I hope it is resolved in this update, although I don't think so, I like the game, through Xbox Gamepass So far no solution.

you try to justify your purchase, but no thanks.
We have the 2024 clown here, praising ACC and Forza Motorsport as the best games....
Sorry, but hear well, Project cars 3 is far better Forza Motorsport.
Justify a purchase? Why not call it "investment" as all my school lunch money went into it. :roflmao:
BTW you can play it on GamePass without paying full price, most people do just that.
At this point I have 3 games in rotation ACC, FM23, and EA WRC. Having a great fun and enjoying them all for different things they bring.
I bet that next thing you are going to say would be that EA WRC is also junk and I am trying to "justify" something.
