⚠ Important: How Teams and Drivers Were Shortlisted

The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe series has an enormous amount of teams and drivers; 59 teams and 303 drivers to be exact. This, coupled with the complex regulations of the series - two parallel championships with the ability to enter some races and not others - made it impossible to represent all teams and drivers.

To narrow the field down, only teams that raced across all rounds of both the Endurance and Sprint championships were selected. Furthermore, only the highest scoring drivers of each team were selected to represent that team. Each team has one car, driven by one driver.

Finally, the Hockenheim and Valencia tracks have limited this championship to 26 drivers, due to limited pit spaces. However, this has worked in favour of the championship due to quicker load times and a better performing game with less cars to render.

Note: It would be easier if I bundled everything up to install in one go, but there's a few reasons why I wouldn't. Firstly, it's a waste of resources hosting two of the same file. Secondly, if the resource is updated, I'd also have to update mine which takes time. Lastly, the original creators of the below assets should get the recognition and the download count, not me.

Step 01.
Download and install the following cars. Simply drag and drop into Content Manager to install.

Note: RSS cars cannot be used due to limited/no skins available for the represented teams. This may change in 2024.

Step 02.
Download and install the following skins. Simply drag and drop into Content Manager to install.

Step 03.
Download and install the following tracks. Simply drag and drop into Content Manager to install.

Step 04.
Download and install the following Kunos track extensions. Simply drag and drop into Content Manager to install.

Step 05.
Download and install the following fixes. Extract to your 'assettocorsa' folder.

Step 06.
Place the contents of the 'champs' folder within this download into:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Assetto Corsa\champs

☆ Tips

AI are too slow
Edit the championship (Content Manager > Content > Miscellaneous > User Championships) and edit the grid preset. At the bottom, add your own restrictor and/or ballast.
Changing your/other cars
Edit the championship (as above) to swap it. Remember to add your car back into the AI grid, and remove the new car you're driving from the AI grid.
Adjusting race lengths
You can tweak race times, AI numbers, your starting car and race lengths by altering the championship rounds (as above).
New AI Behaviour
In the latest Content Manager, enable the new AI features under 'New AI Behaviour', such as allowing the AI to overtake if impatient. This improves the competitiveness of the AI enormously.

⛐ Troubleshooting

If you receive:

"AC ran into a critical error:
CANNOT HAVE 0 CARS IN RACE.INI"

Then there is an issue with the track installations. Remove and re-install the tracks.
If you receive a crash followed by an error describing a fault with AI lines, disable any wet weather AI enhancements within Custom Shaders Patch (under New AI Behaviour).
