The Singapore from your pack has the

• 1.kn5 file with the creation date of February 09, 2016.
• 2.kn5 April 21, 2017

The Singapore I found a while ago has

• 1.kn5 as October 09, 2016 - so mine was newer whilst
• 2.kn5 however was older, so I updated it with the one from your pack.

1.kn5 is a daytime file

2.kn5 is a night file

I only adjust files for the night. (2.kn5)

For the sun issue, choose 12pm and put this in lightning.ini
SUN_PITCH_ANGLE=0
SUN_HEADING_ANGLE=0

The sun doesn't move anymore.

Great work! But to get an excellent nighttime effect of the track, they should work better on the textures .. we know that AC can not put real lights on the track (it would require huge work for the PC) but you can mimic light effects with good textures .. you look at a rough example made by me. Unfortunately I'm not able to model and map in 3d. I've only changed some textures..

Every single file I try to extract (even if it is just an .txt or map.png) gives me an error. I am using 7zip, but that shouldnt really matter, it should just work.

It's really strange, i use 7zip too. Please try with another archive and see if you have an error too. Maybe you use an old version, if you don't just reinstall 7zip.

If nothing of this work i'll post here the archive in a different coding system and you will tell me if it work

It works when using 7zip.
But when using the automatic opener through Windows, then it creates errors when extracting - though opening itself is fine.

So my best guess is, he ain't actually using 7zip even though he may have it installed

I changed the codage system of the archive to have less issues when you extract the files + I added better AI for Singapore (by Fabian Biehne)
