Must be the summer heat.

I didn't put much emphasis on qualifying because if I pushed too hard, I'd wreck the car. Ended up 9th for the start. Took it easy on the start, and let some guys around at the hairpin. Settled in behind Eric E. and when he went "weed picking" I thought i'd get around him. He came back on track and we were side by side going into Aremburg with me outside. I lost my brake point for just a moment and that was all it took. I hit the guard rail enough to kill the engine. Then, in bonehead move number two, I quit the game. Oh yeah, there was going to be a second race. Sorry about that guys, should have kept a clearer head.
Thanks to Stefan and Eric for all the work you guys put into these events. I'll be ready next Monday.

Cutting
On this track there are 3 corners where there is tracksurface between the yellow line and the curbstones in the outcoming racingline of the corner as shown in the pictures.

ONLY for this event you are allowed to cross the yellow line in these 3 corners and use the curbstones as marker for the end of tracksurface. Dont abuse this exception for cutting in other corners, the rest of the track has a clear end of tracksurface by the yellow lines.

Q: for some reason I ended up P1 in Q and just didnt understand that. Thanks to slapshot Larose for the sweeeeeeeeeeeeet vette setup on the ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!

R1: I ended up in an interesting battle that I just couldnt hang onto. Yves and Stefan were so smooth and fast that I just could not keep race pace with them. Stefan NP at all as I think we had some great racing. Again I ended up racing Jesper really hard and clean for a good while with Nelson's commentary in the backround it was rather amusing. I have a standard issue unforced error and wreck the front of my car. It did gain me 15k/h on the long straight that was rather entertaining when Ventura and myself. I finished P8 I think we no front end left!!!!!

R2: I get a great start and lead for a while but cant hang onto the pace of the front runners. I finish a respectable P3 and am very VERY very VERY tired.

Thanks again RD for the event and Nelson and Stefan for admin!

We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system - read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organiser a private message detailing the incident including a youtube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.
