So you haven't seen the footages from Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo I guessthis is the biggest pile of ive ever seen!
No kidding. As bad as WRC5 might look and sound to some people, it's still a lot better than what's been seen of SLRE so far.So you haven't seen the footages from Sebastian Loeb Rally Evo I guess

Well there's always going to be a big audience for more arcade/casual racing games. I see nothing wrong with that for the most part. As long as the devs are upfront about what they're making. I don't think the people behind wrc5 have come out and stated they're intention is to create a sim.I don't see the point in making a Rally Game/Sim if it's not better than Dirt Rally !
WRC 5 & SLRE are just horrible dated piece of IMO !

On the other hand, Milestone, when not giving away trade secrets on how to create a top notch game logo or talking about how each blade of grass and pebble on every stage was painstakingly recreated, they have thrown around words like "simulation", "true to life", and "realistic" quite frequently. And in my opinion what they've shown so far looks awful for even an arcade racer, let alone any kind of sim.
When the engine is ready to start becoming a proper rally sim I will be first to hang from the top branches of the tree's and shout about it, in the mean time we just try to develop a solid Simcade title which will work across multiplatform and appeal to the more casual WRC fans.
We have a development curve which is realistic and aims to climb into the simulation genre "eventually", Rome wasn't built in a day as they say.
Shaping up nicely now. Looks a lot better than a few months ago.
Good year for rally fans so far.
