Would You Recommed Assetto Corsa

Hi Everyone,
I've played Project Cars, too buggy at the moment. Just getting in to RaceRoom, which I really enjoy. But what about Assetto Corsa. I want to race online more, not necessarily leagues but a lot a various classes to get variety in the cars you drive.
Would you recommend Assetto Corsa as a sim and also the popularity of online racing.

Well I went ahead and purchased AC yesterday, had a quick play around and so far looks good, as has been said, not impressed with the career mode, did the first couple of challenges then stopped, lost interest after about a lap lol.
I think online would be really good though, so looking to get invovled in some online races now. I think the Ferrari and Lambo license is the big draw and also Alfa is coming.

Well hopefully you will like those few class - track combinations that rotates on public servers+ practice only mode nords tourist with most cars...also you can always catch few days of new cars on new track after dlc release.. Recently i think it is iRacing or to pay your way in rd, r2p or another league (but scheduled races are impossible for me to do on regular basis) of you wanna mp experience in any sim

MP right now:

I didn't try RRE, but I tried Project Cars and it was an arcadish joke compared to Assetto Corsa.
I did like the rain effect... Only the visual effect, cos the driving effect was laughable.
I used to be a rFactor and GTR2 fan in the 2000s...
I didn't touch them anymore since Assetto Corsa came out.
I do miss a lot night racing, but overall everything is so much better...
Nothing comes close to it, in terms of realism. (war is starting in 3..2...)

As for content, I have now around 230 tracks and more than 400 cars...
And I actually delete a lot and keep only the good ones... lol
So don't listen too much to people saying that its rivals have more content...
You have enough content do to full F1 competitions, GT2 and GT3 cups (disagreeing with the guy a few comments above), countless hillclimbs (not on RD though)...

As for MP, not gonna lie to you, MANY people ragequit because of freezes or sudden disconnections. It's still not there yet.
Personally I drive "local" with a friend and it's fine.
As for A.I., it's good-average, definitely acceptable.

!00% yes!! Get it!

I have been into the sim racing going on about 3yrs now and have all the current titles. AC , GSCE , Iracing , RRE , RF2 and PC. I love em all for different reasons. Some sims / car / track combo's I have so much fun on , you just don't want to stop driving. Some overall packages seem a little better than others , but I myself am glad I own all of them. Depends on my mood , what car and track I want to drive...as long as it puts a smile on my face.

AC has a great sim on their hands and the modding community is excellent ! I woul;d have to say , I have more fun in that little Ford Escort MK1 than just about anything else. But as far as " is it worth it ".....oh hell yeah!
