GRID Legends Why no Grid Legends mods?

There seems to be zero mods for Grid Legends? Why is that? Also does anyone know if it has the same save game protection from Autosport, where if you modify any files you can't save? Because I remember that being bullsh-- and the reason I uninstalled the game completely. Atleast the AI is bit better in Legends(albeit a bit slow).

I presume it's because it can't be modded.
