F1 2010 When should i pit for new tyres

Can anayone advise me at what point i should pit for new tyres?

As soon as the first one turns yellow?

No probably not,Mostly avoid your main strategy (Default) SInce then everyone goes to the pits,If you are courageous enough to stay on your tyres until they all turn oragne,or some even red,thus losing a couple seconds pre lap,pit late,to avoid the traffic
Or you can pit early when 4 or 3 tyres are yellow,but then i guess you will go for a double pit strategy

Depends if this is online or not, if its online then I go by the pace of cars around me. If your being held up then pit early but if your maintaining a gap to the cars behind then keep on rolling.

If your tyres go black its probably a good idea to pit.

I can happily drive around on orange tyres, even red, but not for too long on red

In China it starts raining after a few laps but then it starts to rain harder around lap 11 but i cant change to Intermediets. Shouldnt u be able to change tyre stratergy during a race? And if so how do u do it please?
