What would be a typical hillclimb steering wheel degrees of rotation?

Well, the title says it all.
I know most GT and WRC cars have a DOR around 540 degrees. Would this be a typical setting on hillclimb cars too?

Thanks!

From what I can see on the net hillclimb doesn't get treated any differently. I think the most important thing you need to keep in mind is the 'steering lock' setting. In case you didn't realize, (sorry) this is how much the wheels turn when you rotate your steering wheel.

For some reason I prefer the forces at 900, and run around 25 lock, sometimes lower. But a bit of simple math can get you to some equivalents.

900/30 = 540/18

So if you rather 540 just make sure you have enough lock to make the hairpin. Race cars notoriously have rubbish turning circles.

Also have a look at the steering sensitivity settings... 50% matches your inputs to output. lower than that and you will find that the output is reduced at the start of your rotation and multiplied towards the end. Of course more than 50 is the opposite of that.

Hope that helps.
