what are those two little holes on top of the pedals for?

Hello.
I have just got some new pedals,T3PA add-on
But what are those two little holes on top of the pedals for?
The shop did´nt knew,but wanted me to ask Thrustmaster support,but perhaps I can get a faster answer here..?

Probably just something from the manufacturing process. Nothing to be concerned about.

Naae,perhaps not,but I have never seen this on any photos of these pedals.My concern are if the pedals are second hands and moderated somehow,and about the warranty.And how do I even know if they are funktion correct?
