What am i doing wrong?

I used the GE to BTB tutorial and managed to do everything and import, but once imported the elevations are completly wrong, and i have put them through btb lofty, any help?

When you say the elevations are wrong, do you mean they look like a roller coaster?

If so, I think the quick answer is to make two KML files... one for describing the exact track and the second, with the points spaced well apart for Lofty, which you can later use to match up your elevations.

Personally I have not been impressed with Lofty or most of the other altitude-filling tools. Seems just as easy to hand-enter the altitudes into the KML after reading them off the screen from Google Earth.
