Weird G27 behaviour

In 3 online races, (Laguna GT2, RB Ring GT3 and ADAC), after couple laps, my Logitech G27 starts to change gears randomly. So except from 3rd up to 4th it goes to 6th or instead from 5th to 4th it goes directly to 1st. I tried rF2 now just to be sure, everything is OK with my steering wheel and there it works fine.
Is there maybe some setup issue? Thanks.

Turn on auto clutch u are killing your gearbox. I asked a dev and he told me about it.

Maybe you damaged your gearbox.
Make sure you have autoclutch enabled, or use the clutch yourself.

np mate. i waited for u and then i pressed a random button on my wheel which made the car drive just 60km/h lol

I got this earlier today for the first time and knew straight away it was gearbox damage as the sounds it made were just horrible, like someone had thrown a handful of spanners inside the gearbox.....Awesome!.

I had this happen to me when I was playing DTM. I normally drive with an h-pattern, but decided to try out the flappy paddles. Clicked the little button to make it active, but didn't remember I had to set it to auto clutch.

Did some online races, got the random shifting gears and it freaked me out! Had to drop out of 2 races before I figured out what the problem was.

Mainly freaked me out because it was the first time I used my brand spankin new G27, and I thought it was broken and I was going to have to send it back. SCARY!
