Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

I still can't do it.
  • Download the file from the resource manager
  • Save it to your desktop (so you can find it)
  • Right-click on the downloaded folder and select "extract to CART Extreme"
  • Open the new Cart Extreme folder
  • Highlight (keep left mouse button pressed) the gamedata and rfm folder
  • Go to your stock car gamefolder and find both the gamedata and rfm folder (dont open them!)
  • Now right-click somewhere inside the stock car folder and rightclick and select paste and let the files overwrite
  • Open your game and enjoy cart extreme
 
@Wedge I have installed all files except for _Docs into my game folder. Replaced the originall d3d9.dll file and edited the ReShade.fx file. However, when I start the game via the GSC.exe I receive the warning display which I agree to yet the game does not continue to load. Is there a command I need to enable specifically for the game to work?

Because I am a gorilla, I need some guidance. I would like some assistance on tweaking my car so I can brake a little later - or even at the same spot - and have the car not swerve about from locking the rears or understeering (from not slowing down within the distance) into a wall. For example, taking Long Beach's first corner, I brake where the tire marks are and I can make it. However I have seen a couple of people push 50-100m in and still make it very composed.

Do I move brake bias forward by a bit? Do I lower camber? Stiffen the front suspension? Any help is much appreciated, I know I am losing some valuable time from reaching the very top due to my inadequacy at matching late braking zones.
 
Braking is more of a matter of technique but if i remember right you want to get as close to 50-50 front and rear as you can without the rears locking. But i did a 52.4 at long beach and you want to brake immediately as hard as you can and let off gradually, if not then youll just lock up and hit the wall.
 
v8 touring cars? had no idea this even existed... and only falcons and holdens are eligible... man instant love for me... @reiza: is it possible to to license maybe the cars only? theyre past models afterall

These are not anything like orsm 2012 models.
These are all 2015 Spec models with all 5 models as current.
ORSM mod was only Holden and Ford as that's what was there at that time.
This is not nor even based on anything orsm.
All 5 Models will be Scratch built with Physics and Sound from Reiza. 2 are finished awaiting fine touchups.
You wouldn't get a license for any V8SC content as Forza have the dip there.

Hi there.
It's me again. :)
I have made skin for Lola/Davis (Arnd Meier car).
He drove first half of '98 season with this (BAAM) skin and the other in that that comes with the mod Hasseroder.

What have I changed?
Replaced Hasseroder logos with BAAM (I leave them where they should stay) on main livery skin and on...

I really know little about these cars, even in real life.
I do not know if it is a natural behavior of the car or problem in MOD. In an online race yesterday in Jacarepagua Oval (40min) after about 5 laps the car from a back and another lost a lot of power / rotation mainly in the big straight. Where usually go with sixth gear (~320km) at most a fifth gear (~300 km). No cars near and with good tires. HUD does not show any sign of problem / heating engine.
This intrigued me, so any explanation will be appreciated.

Hi @Troy Barman , why did not remain on the server yesterday for the race? Despite some incidents (which is natural), was a cool race.
