Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

Hope you enjoy them........happy racing fellas!

;)

are these numbers used

I was waiting to answer as I don't completely understand this feature.

From the look of the variables you would think that they control to position of the sun... however this is not what happens.

It seems that these variables are matched to the cloud / sun objects that are used for the track. You may notice that this variable in many converted tracks is the same, this is because the tracks share the same sky objects. (I think :))

If you alter the variables you will notice the times for sunrise / sunset are affected... but in my experiments I could not work out any correlations.

Thanks for the info Gringo. The last couple of weeks i've downloaded several "V8 Supercar" tracks and noticed that several were using the same latitude in the gdb-file. Out of curiosity I've looked for the coordinates of each track in Google Maps. I've changed the latitude accordingly but didn;t notice big differences.

Based on today's testing in the Camaro, imo this track needs to have grip adjusted to match Reiza standards or your other tracks. Played at Laguna Seca, Autopolis and Jerez.
Autopolis and Laguna no complaints. But I found Jerez quite a bit more slippery/less grippy compared to other two. The car was losing traction faster and more aggressively and was overall more sensitive to steering inputs and difficult to control.

Have you done any grip optimizations on this track, Patrick ?
