(URGENT) failed to download/install packages

Hi all,

I need help with my rf2 as I'm trying to get into a server. As soon as I'm going to enter the server, I met with this problem "failed to download/install packging"

1st, ensure you are using the same version as the server. The current version # is v1133. The Release Candidate is v1134.
Try finding the server in Steam first. At the Library screen choose the VIEW drop down menu(much smaller letters near the top of the screen) Then choose GAME SERVERS and when that box comes up, filter only for rFactor2. You should be able to download the files much quicker IF you can find the particular server you trying to join. ONce that download is completed, only then launch rF2.

Forget about server for now.

Copy the name of the car
Click on workshop
paste car name in box and search
click on car
click subscribe
you should see download bar start at bottom of screen

edit: Launch rF2, car should install, check all cars/tracks it is there, select car select customize make sure all looks okay. This also gives rF2 chance to log car.
Now open server and select event with the car and or track.
