Unlocking gear ratios

Hi, I noticed on some mods (mostly street cars) that you can't change the gear ratios in the setup, is there a way of unlocking them so they're adjustable???

I'm not sure, you could try looking through the .veh files of the relevant cars.

easiest way is to add some final drive ratios (less calculation headache)
in the *_Gears.ini to the section [FINAL_DRIVE].
just take a look at existing files, to see how it works.
you also need to enable it in the *.hdv:

[DRIVELINE]
...
FinalDriveSetting=3                 // indexed into GearFile list
AllowFinalDriveChanges=1

the FinalDriveSetting is pointing to the default final ratio in the setup screen (index starts at 0)

of course, this will cause online mismatches
