Troubles loading 1.0.0.1 projects on Steam version

    I'm trying to load projects of the old BTB 1.0.0.1 and is crashing almost always. I have an 1.0.0.1 in other PC and everything works well. But with this Steam version crashes in 2 PC's, any solution?

    Perhaps it's better to ask Steam that.

    Well, Steam suggest that I should contact to Brendom in forums or some like that.

    In my laptop I have both versions: 1.0.0.1 works fine, Steam version crash.

    Are the tracks fairly recent. That is, made in v 1.0.0.1 and not v 0.4.2.3 and you have put them into the correct folder.

    I don't have the Steam version so I don't know the folder setup.

    Have you put the Xpacker folders into Steam as well as the project?

    Yes, Steam creates a separate folder for tracks, but you can move it. Project folder are ok and xpack too.

    For example I'm able to open a backup of Sakhir (2019Sakhir1), but if I want to open 2019Sakhir2 I have the problem and this text

    have you made a simple test track with the steam version to see if it loads?

    Yes, I can create a new one, save them, then load fine, I can use any xpack. I can modify 2019sakhir1 too. But only if I haven't a project opened, if not, crash too.

    In any case I can't open a track if I have already opened a project, doesn't matter if is a new project or an older.

    I should close BTB, open again and loads the project.

    In dekstop PC and in the laptom I have the same troubles, even in the laptop by default are using the project folder from 1.0.0.1 version.

    So the main problem is that you cannot open another project/venue from a project/venue. But you can if you close STEAM BTB then reopen STEAM BTB?

    My apologies, I wasn't being clear with this previously:

    - With a project opened I can't open anything other project
    - With an 'empty' BTB, or after start the software, I can open 1.0.0.2 projects and some backups of 1.0.0.1. I guess because has less objects, so are less chances to crash

    Thank you, you give my some good ideas to test anyway.

    At the moment the best solution is protect as much as possible the 1.0.0.1 version installed on laptop
