trouble with multiplayer

I have some trouble here with multiplayer in Racer. Are there any simple steps to hosting and joining? I've gone to every Racer tutorial and FAQ on the subject.

Computer:
Windows 7
4 GB of RAM
Intel Onboard Graphics
Intel Core i3

Multiplayer gaming as you might know, from modding other games, can't handle different cars & since almost all 'old cars' aren't updated yet, I guess there's not much going on for now.
