Tree Textures in rFactor

I came across this trees xPack which has some great 3d trees in it. However, some of them in BTB show as multiplaned 3d trees but in rFactor are 2d only. Is anyone able to tell me the reason why and is there a way to fix this problem?

Chroma is 1 bit which basically means the mask is either on or off.
Alpha can have graduated masks meaning you can have soft edges.
Alpha uses more resources but looks better.
There is also a problem with Alpha that lets objects behind appear in front & can look a bit wierd.
