Correct me if I’m wrong but Hard Drives are still struggling to achieve 150, 300 & 600Mbps let alone 10Gbps.

Eyghon, hard drives are not struggling with this kind of speed. Internally they are capable of moving data this fast, it is the bus controller that slows the data down. From what I was reading on that article though, they are talking about graphics, not raw data from a drive. Looks like it will be a new type of monitor connection other than HDMI.
