hello

i have got this wheel as a gift. but when i try and play f1 2011, any car that i use goes backwards without me doing anything. i find this strange. no pedal allows for the car to go forward.

im on xbox360

any help or guidance on how to correct this, or check a setting within the game would be greatly appreciated.
