TH8A in Sequential mode

Hello,
so i have been using my TH8A in H pattern since day one. Now i want to try in Sequential mode. however when i open the control panel. is see option sequential but i cannot click on it. see image. it is connected via USB cable .
what is going on?

Hmm, did you swap the "cover" yet? Not 100% sure about this, but the driver might not recognize the shifter as sequential until you switch the cover.

Exactly, there is a midi switch that gets pressed with the analog cover, and it gets detected not as h shifter but as seq.

In any case I find it really light and not satisfying as a seq.
