Suddenly getting an Audio error?

Just tried to play and am getting these errors :
race with modded car/track

Practice with vanilla car/track

Ive never seen these errors before and the only changes I have made since i last plays was adding a few more mods

I want to do a Steam file verification but I am worried it will delete all my mods

Your mods (cars/tracks) wont be deleted. Audio errors are the most common when stmg else is messed up.

Ok so i did a file validation but still crashing.

What else could be giving these errors?

It happened after you've installed some mods. So imho best idea would be to remove them.

And check the archives of those mods! Maybe they've installed smtg outside their folders, like extension/drivers/textures. Make sure to remove this stuff aswell.

Did you maybe install some new apps to? If yes, remove them first. Or at least disable EVERY app first and start a race. If it doesnt crash enable the apps one by one and check which one causes the crash.

Trouble is i cant remember what modded ive added since i played last

I could do a reinstall and streamline my mod collection...but really dont want to unless i have to
