F1 2011 Strato Evo 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset help

Just got it today as my other headset actually causes the game to break.
The problem with this headset atm is I get alot of static playback, which gets worse the faster I go.
Anyone got one of these headsets with a setup that works?

Are they plugged into motherboard sound or a PCI sound card?

Ah USB, well running audio directly from the MOBO via either USB or jack plugs is always prone to interference depending how well the connector is shielded on the MOBO. USB's are even more prone to this as there is normally power going to it too. I guess this would indicate yours isnt well shielded.

I hear that external USB hubs dont solve this issue either, as the interference simply travels with it, as its plugged into one of the mobo USBs anyway.

Eitherway, I dont think its the game, or your headset - most likely the motherboard structure.

EDIT - you tried changing the game audio from Rapture to Software and seen if it still happens?
