Strange FPS issue

I haven't sparked up GSCE for a while now but I decided to have a blast on it tonight only to encounter a strange issue with FPS.

In cockpit view I get around 42 FPS but during replays I get 180-250 FPS (Which I used to get in cockpit view).

I've just tried the beta and that's the same and so is Reiza Truck Sim. What's going on? Everything else is fine.

Any ideas?
