Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

Is there any difference between GP version and 24h version?

In real life there is (I say real life simply because I haven't managed to check this track in game yet).
24h "endurance layout"

GP layout:

In 2010 F1 used the endurance layout as a one-off but usually use the GP layout. I personally prefer the endurance layout.

Loading screen and minimap show the same layout for 24h and gp in fact.

Hi All
I recently came across the awesome tool that is Grumbel's rfactor to Game Stock Car mod converter. However I am having trouble trying to convert my first mod. (Lakeside Raceway - http://www.virtualr.net/lakeside-park-2010-released) After going through the process of converting the mod using Grumbel's tool i opened Game stock car to try it out. It appears in game and begins to load but then comes up with a error saying "Wrong GMT version (or GMT version not allowed) for file SKYBOXI.GMT" As I am new to the whole modding community can someone please explain what this means and how to fix it.

Update: I just tried a different track, this time a .zip track (not a exe) and still have the same problem. It does not convert the .MAS files and when i put the old .mas files in it still makes not difference. I stil get the problem of Wrong GMT version (or GMT version not allowed) for file SKYBOXI.GMT"
I really would like to know how to convert the tracks using this program so i can enjoy racing on local tracks

Just to confirm, the endurance layout isn't actually the endurance layout in the game, it's the GP circuit - you should be able to turn left after turn 4.

Thanks for confirmation. Main goal was to propose the F1 track so mission accomplished but nothing can be perfect ;-)

Well if you ever get the time to do the endurance layout, I'd be very happy, but if not, what you've done already is really good. Thanks for this, Bahrain is one track I've been waiting for (the previous one I had was pathetic for grip).Hopefully this one is better

If anybody knows what mod the Corvette and Ford GT came from please post so we could get the templates for those to.

After a huge waste of time, trial and error, I still can't make a decent paintjob for the Nissan GT-R, until I finally discovered that the templates for the Nissan are in fact the Mercedes SLS ones! (as far as my troubled mind is able to see).
Can you please check, and if possible, upload the right templates for the Nissan GT-R?

Don't bother, perhaps it's my mistake?
The template for the Nissan GT-R didn't match at all in game, and I saw the Mercedes logo within the template. That's why I guessed the template might be switched.
I will download the templates again and will give it a new fresh go.
Hope it will be sorted out

I have. but I still don't know how to fix the problem. It says "

The .gmt file is not encrypted or encrypted with the wrong key, use rfactorcrypt.py to check what the status of the file is and fix it.

but when i open the rfactorcrypt.py it closes almost instantly. If it did open i would not know what to fix

Have you scrolled through all the different sections?
These are in reiza35, do you have any other mods using that section?
Other than that I have not had any other reports of the cars missing. You could try re-downloading, then extract to a another folder then copying across to your GSC installation.

I tried swapping over the original rF1 dds files: didn't work.

Perhaps I'll have to change the alpha channel in Photoshop.

But I'm surprised that the originals of the NSX mod and the Corvette C6 2012 (both by Niels, I think) weren't properly glossy as both those mods are absolutely excellent and have been done with great attention to detail and care.

Anyone else managed to convert the NSX mod and the Corvette C6 2012 mod with glossy finishes?
