How did you unlock this time?
I'm on high 1:50s... and not consistent at all...
Then I check the leaderboards and I'm not even in contention with the back markers...

I guess you still were in the top 500 somewhere with high 1:50s
Just look at Erhan Jajovski's stint. After using his shortcut lines and brake bias settings, I managed a 1:48.212, but obviously a hour or two too late for the event. I really wonder how to figure out brake bias etc for Le Castellet without the help of onboard videos like Erhan's...
