I turned everything to highest and it barely speaks in a race, it is supposed to tell you when cars are on left or right etc?

you have the check the NASCAR mode option

Just for info and for the french willing to install the french language pack : The link on the main page points to an old version and it doesn't work with the actual spotter version. You have first to convert all the files from ".wav" format to "mp3" format as suggested by maxxi09.

Oui, j'ai vu que les fichiers du pack français étaient en wav et qu'il fallait les convertir mais ne connaissant pas votre niveau en informatique, je ne l'ai pas proposé.

I downloaded the English and Portuguese files, but both only contain WAV files that go into the PIT directory, nothing else. I couldn't find the DLL that is mentioned in previous posts. Is there something else that must be installed?

yeah, me too after the update on last build, before was working. Tried to reinstall and reconfigure but dont work anymore. I've removed the dll plugin for now

now i get work again,copy the userdata folder from the other instalacion before the update y paste in the new and work,the problem is the profile

ok since the last version the userdata is moved in Documents folder the plugin will crash for who use the new config, just make an hard link... like this, use your own path
mklink /J F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Automobilista\userdata yourdocumentfolder\Automobilista\USERDATA
