Save F1 games on video

Hello, my friends and I are interested in recording our games f1 2012,yet I have not gotten much into it, and I thought that here Abria people who know how to do it without buy a external capture, I have a couple of ideas that I have to try:
A. - Connect my laptop to tv vga cable, connect my FreeviewRecorder with USB to TV, and try to record the channel pc ...
2. - Connect my laptop to an external PC that I have left, but howwould record the game?, How some video program? I have no idea, just know it certainly can be done, a greeting.

If you have a way to save the replays of the game to a USB drive, then you should be able to bring the replays from the console to a PC to make movies.
