F1 2012 Safety Car

does anyone have the same problem that the safety car isn't coming if there is a major crash with many cars? it is turned on but it stays in. i haven't seen the safety car and i tried everything. i hope this won't be a bug. anyone the same problems?

I've only seen it on a multiplayer race and I have to say its alot better than 2011
