General RSS F1 Hybrid EVO and Skins Question

Hey all! I'm fairly new to AC. Being a F1 fan, I got the RSS F1 Hybrid X and EVO 22 and then I went and got the '22 skins/liveries. When I look at the cars in the showroom, they have the Pirelli tires, but in game/on-track, they are the generic tires. What am I missing?... or is this just how it works?

Also, is there a good tutorial on how I can make my own livery or edit the defaults?

TyresFX is using the default tires. CSP only works in game and not in showroom. You need to add Pirellis to the extension folder so they are used by TyresFX.

There are lots of skinning tutorials on YT.

TyresFX is a CSP extension that, among other things, enables tyre textures to change when chaning tyre compound. Without it you have the same texture regardless of compound.

Thanks @Hoksu... I'll give that a try. I saw he mentioned he will include that in his skin pack and I'm already using his skin pack. Again, I see the Pirelli's in showroom, but I don't when on track/setting up car.

Whenever I drive the FHX 22 Evo on any track, my controls randomly switch to 'gamepad' instead of my usual keyboard and mouse controls when I start a session, and I can't find a way to fix this. Any help would be appreciated.
