Rfactor Server help

Gents,

Want to start a rFactor server. One friend here at work volunteered to host it in one of his server machines.

I would deeply appreciate your help about how to do this. Requirements, things I need to do etc and how to handle the server as well (become administrator, advance sessions, etc etc etc)
